SemAgentPlans & plan-gating
Accounts that sign up on the website use one of the Starter · Pro · Enterprise plans; stores that use the Shopify app pay through Shopify with the Shopify packages. Shopify/e-commerce chat mode is included in every plan (no separate e-commerce package); live order/stock actions unlock on Pro and above. Some features and expertise templates are gated by plan (plan-gating).

The single source of truth for current prices and limits is the pricing page (in sync with live plan data). Starter and Pro begin with a 7-day free trial — card required, auto-billed when the trial ends, cancel anytime.
Shopify packages
Stores that install from the Shopify App Store get their own packages, billed through Shopify (Billing): the package is chosen and changed on Shopify's plan page, and an account opened from a Shopify install asks for no card. Accounts that sign up on the website stay on Starter, Pro and Enterprise.

Paid packages (Boutique, Showroom, Flagship) come with a 14-day free trial. When the monthly reply allowance runs out, new replies stop; there are no surprise extra charges.
How plan-gating works
Some capabilities and expertise templates are only enabled on certain plans. Access is checked through a single central gate:
- Each template/access defines its allowed plans.
- If your plan isn't on that list, access is closed.
- Downgrade: when you move to a lower plan, templates you can no longer access are automatically deactivated (not deleted; they return when you upgrade again).
Modules
Each package also defines which modules are on, such as WhatsApp and Instagram, the email channel, campaigns, proactive messages, handoff rules, branding removal, roles and the audit log. A module that isn't in your package doesn't appear in the menu. If you open it through a link, you see “This feature is not in your package”. When you upgrade, the module turns on right away; nothing is deleted while it is off. On the Starter, Pro and Enterprise plans bought on the website, every screen in the menu is on; handoff rules and branding removal are on Pro and above.
Usage limits
Each plan comes with a monthly usage budget. Limits are a hard ceiling — when reached, new requests stop instead of a surprise bill. Track consumption in real time: Credits & usage.
