SemAgentCredits & usage
SemAgent keeps your consumption transparent and predictable: you see usage in real time, know your monthly budget, and — thanks to a hard ceiling — never face a surprise bill.
Usage panel
On the Usage and Overview screens you see your consumption in real time in user-meaningful units (credits) — not raw-token complexity. With a "pay as you go (up to N)" logic, how much you've spent this month and how much of your budget remains is shown clearly.
Monthly budget & hard ceiling
- Each plan comes with a monthly usage budget (Plans).
- Limits are a hard ceiling: when reached, new requests stop; no automatic overage charge.
- The widget shows your customer a graceful redirect, not an error; it resumes the moment you upgrade.
The hard ceiling removes the risk of "an unexpectedly high bill" — cost control always stays with you.
Extra credits (top-up)
If your monthly credits run low before the period ends, you can buy extra credits without waiting. Top-ups are purchased via Stripe from the Subscription & Billing tab; once payment is confirmed they apply to your balance immediately and any unused portion rolls over to the next month (unlike your monthly plan credits).

Prices are in US dollars (USD); 1 credit ≈ $0.01. If you consistently need more, upgrading your plan is usually more economical.
Memory & skill cost
The cost of background operations like memory inference and skill distillation is also transparent and visible in the usage panel. So the agent "learning" isn't a hidden expense.
